Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas is fast approaching and the lineup is stacked with well known and hard hitting DJs. These artists will be sure to make their presence felt during the three day festival.
Los Angeles-based producer AUDREY NAPOLEON returns with her newest single "Dope A La Mode," out June 25 on SQE Music. AUDREY recently unleashed the official music video for "Dope A La Mode," one ofAUDREY NAPOLEON's raciest visuals to date. In the video, we see the heroine partake in a S&M sex scene, a Gothic church wedding, a murder and a literal bloodbath. Watch the "Dope A La Mode" official music videohere: http://youtu.be/tGykC1Z8z3s.
On "Dope A La Mode," AUDREY NAPOLEON takes her production prowess to a new high. The track features thumping electro/house bass, eerie and equally sexy vocals-with lyrics written and performed by AUDREY herself-topped with her signature flair. AUDREY NAPOLEON, known for her notorious visual persona, stirs up the controversy with the "Dope A La Mode" video, taking shots at sex, religion, violence, gender and more. The video also features Semi Precious Weapons lead vocalist Justin Tranter, who plays the role of AUDREY's husband.
The last 12 months saw AUDREY NAPOLEON release six singles with teaser films to match, alongside her debut EP Ornamental Egos. AUDREY also toured North America in 2012 on the 18-city Identity Festival tour. While AUDREY found herself remixing CC Sheffield's"Long Brown Hair" (Ultra), Parker's, "So Beautiful" (Interscope) and Adrian Lux's "Damaged" (Ultra), Nero did the same for her tune "#mysunrise," which she wrote for an ambassadorship with Heineken's "Sunrise Belongs to Moderate Drinkers" campaign (currently airing in 28 countries globally). On the live stage, AUDREY most recently played international events for Heineken, including Coachella and a closing slot for The Cure for the brand's Jammin' Festival. In the last year, AUDREY NAPOLEON has also written music for Fredrik Bond's full-length directorial debut The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman starring Shia LaBeoufand Evan Rachel Wood. Her track "Only You" was also featured in the season finale of Naomi Campbell's show "The Face." AUDREY NAPOLEON will also release several new singles later this year (more info TBA soon).

BLACK BOOTS
Las Vegas-based electronic/rock duo BLACK BOOTS recently released their new single "Streetwalker" on Ultra Music. BLACK BOOTS-LIGHTKNIFE (production) and MIKEY FRANCIS (vocals, production)-explore further into the depths of song and verse with "Streetwalker," the follow-up single to "Flash Of Light." On "Streetwalker," shimmering synths build alongside MIKEY's elegant delivery as the song swells into anirresistible refrain. Words will not be forgotten on this towering dance floor rollercoaster that features a hypnotic female vocal cameo from MIKEY's cousin Katie Roberts. Since their worldwide debut with the track"Rebels In The Night" in November 2012, BLACK BOOTS has taken the world by storm, building a rapidly growing fan base and accolades from the media. Billboard.com wrote: "New Ultra Records signees Black Boots aren't the typical EDM outfit. The Las Vegas-based duo--producer Lightknife and vocalist/producer Mikey Francis--eschews neon for black leather, abandons mainstream polish for a punk aesthetic, and aims not only to move crowds but to create a movement. Lightknife and Francis' sound joins full-bodied electronic production with raw indie-pop vocals, all fueled by a devil-may-care, rock 'n' roll attitude." (1/30/13) Elsewhere, Alternative Press included BLACK BOOTS on their 100 Bands You Need To Know list and Vibe.com tagged them in their "30 DJs To Watch in 2013" feature.

FIREPOWER
Earlier this year, North American dubstep pioneer DATSIK released the first edition of the two-part COLD BLOODED EP on his own independent label Firepower Records with the second half of the project due out later this year. With a string of Beatport #1's, sell-out tours, and a rapidly growing fan base, the Canadian producer/DJ and label boss has entered the New Year on an exceptionally high note, and with the release ofCOLD BLOODED he's already making his claim to an even bigger 2013. For DATSIK, his Firepower imprint stands out as an extension of his revered and applauded musical persona.
DATSIK's specialty is wrecking the dance floor. Barely out of high school, the Canadian artist and producer inked a deal with Excision's Rottun Recordings. He released a series of successful singles and EPs and rose to prominence as a leader of the underground dubstep scene in North America. After collaborating with the legendary Korn on The Path of Totality, he toured the U.S. with the group. Then, 2012 saw him release his proper full-length debut, Vitamin D, viaDim Mak Records featuring the epic single "Evilution" [Featuring Jonathan Davis of Korn & Infected Mushroom]. However, founding a label has always been part of his plan. FIREPOWER began formally contributing to that landscape with the release of AFK & Hizzleguy's 10-song EP, Full Clip. Shortly after, the second signing Getter dropped the razor sharp Psycho EP. Other acts that make up the roster include Barron, Rekoil,Terravita, The Frim, DKS, Sub Antix and DATSIK himself. With tours planned under the label banner and more music on the horizon, Firepower Records are well on their way to domination. Either duck and cover or storm the gates with them. DATSIK's COLD BLOODED EP is available now on iTunes (http://goo.gl/47cO3) and Beatport (http://goo.gl/rElSR). Listen to the COLD BLOODED EP here: http://goo.gl/BQ98C.
