GRAMMY Award-nominated electronic music DJ and producer Audien teams up with the multi-platinum alt-pop sibling trio Echosmith for his new single, "Favorite Sound," out today on RED MUSIC/Cranberry Records. CLICK HERE to listen to the anthem that premiered yesterday on Billboard, who called the track "melodic gold" and a "warm, bubbly blanket of melody and emotional honestly." Co-written with Echosmith lead singerSydney Sierota, the single features empowering lyrics backed by pop-orientated glossy production by Audien. The single follows a string of recent releases from Audien including the official remix for Calvin Harris and Rag'n'Bone's massive pop hit "Giant," "Never Letting Go" with ARTY, and "Rollercoaster" with Liam O'Donnell. "Favorite Sound" featuring Echosmith is available across all digital streaming platforms now.
"The goal behind 'Favorite Sound' was to create something super pretty and meaningful," sharesAudien. "The lyrics speak to us a lot right now, and I am glad we could put something out that is relevant to us currently. I always work on songs that I connect with but they typically come out so much later, but this song is literally brand new and I'm feeling it in a big way."
Audien received his big break in in 2014 when he remixed Bastille's "Pompeii," which was heavily supported in the club and festival circuits and earned him a GRAMMY Award nomination for "Best Remixed Recording, Non Classical." Audien signed to Astralwerks the following year and released his debut EP, Daydreams, which included the hit single "Something Better," a dance-country crossover hit with superstars Lady Antebellum that marked the first time Audien debuted on the Billboard Top 40 Pop chart after it had already reached #1 onBillboard's Dance Club Songs chart.
Audien remains a mainstay act in Las Vegas with past residencies at Marquee, XS Nightclub, Encore Beach Club, and Drai's Nightclub. Tickets to upcoming tour dates can be purchased on Auden's official website at audiendj.com.
Multi-platinum alt-pop sibling trio Echosmith recently returned with their bold, synth-driven radio single, "Over My Head," the band's most evolved sound to date since the Inside A Dream EP, following their breakout success with the debut album Talking Dreams and its triple-platinum hit, "Cool Kids" and double- platinum certified "Bright." Inside A Dream quickly earned critical acclaim from the likes of Billboard, Vulture, MTV, and Substream Magazine, adding to the list of rave reviews for the band from ELLE, Rolling Stone, Teen Vogue, NYLON, and more in praise of their distinctive melody-minded, New Wave-influenced sound. Since forming in 2009, the Sierotas - Sydney (lead vocals/keyboard), Noah (vocals/bass), and Graham (drums) - have played to crowds of thousands at sold-out shows across the U.S. and Europe and have performed on The Ellen Degeneres Show, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The TODAY Show, Late Night with Seth Meyers, The Late Late Show with James Corden, Conan, and more.Upcoming Audien Tour Dates
