Hailing from Adelaide, South Australia,
Atlas Genius is the brainchild of the Jefferybrothers--vocalist/guitarist Keith and drummer
Michael.
Atlas Genius experienced a massive surge in their popularity when their debut song "Trojans" resulted in offers from record labels and went on to become a gold record. After releasing their first EP Through the Glass, the group's full-length debut album, When It Was Now followed in 2013. When It Was Now debuted in the Top 40 of the Billboard Top 200 chart and spawned two songs which charted on the
Alternative Songs Chart, "Trojans" at No. 4 and "If So" at No. 8. After extensive touring and multiple late-night TV appearances in the U.S., the band released the follow up to When It Was Now, their sophomore full-length Inanimate Objects, in 2015. The group debuted the music video for their new song
"63 Days" in the summer of 2017, following it up with a performance on Conan and tour dates with Weezer, Panic! at The Disco, Blink 182 and Incubus. The track, which tells the story of accidental heartbreak and how breakdowns in communication can similarly tear two people apart as well as cause a rupture throughout the world spawned the social movement #63DaysOfLove. For the social campaign and subsequent "63 Days of Love"fall tour, the group challenged people to come together spreading compassion, kindness and to help others (

Atlas Genius is currently putting the finishing touches on their third studio album, due out in spring 2018 on Caroline/Universal.
