"Push It To the Limit" is Hospital-style liquid funk-meets 140 bpm with its R&B vocals and bright warm lead notes floating over the top. "Perfect" features elements of hip-hop and jazz mixed in with some glowing pads and 808 snare rolls. "Catalyst" takes us back to the days of "Inner City Life" - strong female vocals with a positive message echoing away over a rolling jungle bass and 808 drums. The final track "Soundkilla" is a dubby bass roller with hints of jazz and a classic dubstep rhythm.
Atlantic Connection is the LA-based DJ/producer pioneering his own style of "future soul," a signature blend of soul, R&B, dubstep and bass music. His 2012 release 'Love Architect' earned high praise across the board, from Complex, who called it a "feel-good album that's perfect for summer sunrises and proper pool parties" to DJ Craze, who named it "one of the smoothest albums I've heard in a long time...an audio org*sm from beginning to end." His 'Love Architect Remixed' album was released earlier this month, with reworks from Kastle, Bro Safari, Sinistarr and more. Meanwhile, Atlantic Connection is also infiltrating television and film, with his track "Hypem" recently picked up as the theme song for MTV's new series "The Show With Vinny."
