On Thursday, Sept 25th "Reverse the Trend" a popular Anti-Bullying Concert and assembly will come Brooklyn Collegiate School.
The program was created in 2012 by a pop rock band from New Jersey,
Reverse Order. The program teaches students how to deal with bullying in a safe and positive way. It has become so successful and sought after that the band will be bringing it to more than 150 schools across the country for the 2014/2015 school year.
"Reverse The Trend" is a program that combines a concert with an assembly, engaging and exciting the students with music that they will enjoy, while teaching them how to overcome bullying.
Reverse Order continues the assembly, sharing their individual stories of how they were bullied, and how they overcame it in a safe and positive way. It comforts students, knowing that even "celebrities" are bullied and they are not alone. They too can accomplish great things in their own lives.
