The inimitable Andy Frasco & The U.N. have announced a late-night show on Frenchmen Street in New Orleans during Jazz Fest. The show will surely undoubtedly be a wild experience, as Frasco & Co bring their hard-partying live show to the relatively small club The Maison-a venue that will surely be bursting with energy from band and crowd alike.
Andy Frasco & The U.N. have made a name for themselves as one of the most exciting live bands on the road today. The band's thrillingly debaucherous shows have wowed audiences across the country since their formation in 2007. In the years since, they've become a can't-miss act at festivals such as Wakarusa, Electric Forest, and Jam Cruise.
Frasco himself is a sight to behold on stage, mixing in loads of humor and banter with the band's tenacious though devil-may-care playing. He has been known to stage dive, crowd surf, shamelessly chug beers, and get into the crowd and do the Horah while his band battles each other for improvisational supremacy onstage. Frasco is the jam scene's response to Andrew W.K., and he certainly knows how to lead a party. "That's my thing," Frasco told Live For Live Music on Jam Cruise, "I'm the ringleader of this fin' circus, whatever circus it's gonna be."
Andy Frasco & The U.N. are the ultimate party band, and they will leave no prisoners as they take New Orleans by storm with this special late-night performance at The Maison.
