Amy Lawton Releases New Single DON'T BRING LOUISE

Critically acclaimed singer-songwriter Amy Lawton has released her brand new single 'Don't Bring Louise'. The new song is one of heartfelt unrequited love, featuring beautiful harmonies among its sincere country pop.

Regarding the single Amy says, "'Don't Bring Louise' is a true story, about a real girl that my ex-boyfriend dated. I started writing the song when I heard her name for the first time. I'd never met her but as soon as I heard her name I started building a picture of her and the lyrics started to form in my head. It's about a feeling that gets reignited the first time you hear that the other person has moved on, even if you thought you were over it."

'Don't Bring Louise' follows the release of her highly praised singles 'Hurts Like Paradise' and 'Undone'. Since emerging last year Amy has received support from the likes of The Times, 1883 Magazine, CelebMix and many more.

A burgeoning name on the UK live scene, Amy has just completed her first ever regional tour, where she played 19-dates across the country. She also performed at The Great Escape Festival in Brighton this summer.

In London, Amy has played at many famous venues in the city including Ronnie Scott's, The Troubadour, The Bedford and The Social among many others. She also played as support to Jack Savoretti at Cadogan Hall.

While still fresh-faced, Amy comes armed with sharpened experience well beyond her years and is proving her self to be an exciting new name on the singer/songwriter scene.
