This November, Amy Helm and some of her closest friends and collaborators will hit the road for three very special SKYLARK shows. The evening will feature an all-female lineup of musicians, singers and songwriters from Helm's hometown of Woodstock, NY and beyond. The tour begins on November 3 at Levon Helm Studios in Woodstock, NY and will make stops at City Winery in New York for two shows on Saturday, November 4 and Infinity Hall in Norfolk, CT on Sunday, November 5.

From the rhythm section to the vocalists, these woman play and sing with grace and fire. The evening will first both long term musical partnerships and first-time collaborations. SKYLARK will feature performances by Nicki Bluhm, Cindy Cashdollar, Jennifer Condos, Emily Gimble, Amy Helm, Shelley King, Allison Miller, Simi Stone, Carolyn Wonderland, and Rachael Yamagata.

"I can't wait to dig into the collaborations with these fine musicians and singers," said Helm of the upcoming SKYLARK shows. "The songs, voices, and musicians cover all the ground we need, from kick-ass boot stomping funk, to heart breaking melodies and quiet, masterful playing. This group of ladies is surely a force to be reckoned with!"

Amy Helm's most recent release, her critically-acclaimed solo debut Didn't It Rain, was released in 2015 via eOne Music. The album was embraced by The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Relix, Rolling Stone and firmly established her as a solo artist.

While Didn't It Rain was her first official album as a solo artist, Helm has been making music most of her life. She's already won widespread praise as a singer, songwriter and live performer, first as a member of the celebrated alt-country/ collective Ollabelle and subsequently for her extensive work with her father, musical icon Levon Helm, who passed away in 2012.
