The 14th edition of Loveland Festival is once again shaping up to be a unique musical getaway in the heart of the beautiful Sloterpark, right next to the glistening Sloterplas lake of Amsterdam. For the first time ever, Loveland will be morphing into a 2 day festival. Early bird tickets are already close to selling out for the event which takes place on August 11th and 12th. And that's no surprise given the line-up features the biggest and most exciting names from the worlds of house and techno including Marco Carola, Eric Prydz's alter ego Cirez D, Jeff Mills, Tale Of Us, Apollonia, Sam Paganini, Dixon, DJ Tennis, Len Faki, Hernan Cattaneo and tens more.
Loveland Day One traditionally features six stages in a clean and blissful open-air setting. The different stages all represent different niches from across the electronic spectrum and offer up international stars of the highest calibre.
Loveland's Day Two will cut down in number of stages creating an even more harmonious vibe, whilst the immersive quality of the line-up remains. Sunday access is only for those that also attend the first day: the perfect formula for an intimate event for the true
Loveland fans. Musically Sunday is set out to go even deeper into the tunes and is accompanied by this loyal crowd to fully connect artists and audience on all levels.
Standing out amongst the many headliners is the very rare appearance of Cirez
N*E*R*D a.k.a. Eric Prydz, who will perform under this famous techno alias for the very first time ever in the Netherlands. Then there's Music On head honcho and minimal techno master Marco Carola, whose Ibiza party is one of the key nights of the summer. More techno comes from space obsessive and Detroit pioneer Jeff Mills, a master of sci-fi minimalism and escapist grooves. Also playing will be the esteemed Berghain resident
Len Faki who has a diverse take on techno, and moody Italian pair Tale of Us from labels like Afterlife.
For house offerings, look no further than RA's Number 1 DJ in the world and Innervisions founder Dixon, plus hugely energetic
The Martinez Brothers who run the Cuttin Headz label and Tuskagee with Seth Troxler. They don't come more accomplished than New Jersey deep house innovator
Kerri Chandler of the celebrated MadTech label. Held basically the
Stevie Wonder of house, and South African
Black Coffee is another sensation with his own richly organic sound and big night at Hi Ibiza. Add in a show from live specialist and long time techno mainstay
Stephan Bodzin and you have plenty of different scenes and styles covered by the biggest names in the game.
