Grammy-winning troubadour Amos Lee will bring his Mountains of Sorrow, Rivers of Song Tour to the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center on Sunday, November 24 at 8:00pm. Tickets are $76 - $116 and can be purchased online at www.whbpac.org.
Amos Lee's nimble acoustic guitar playing, honeyed singing voice, and poetic lyrics will touch your soul. His unique brand of American roots music encompasses everything from R&B to pop to gospel to country to folk to soul. His intimate live performances create a reflective and joyous mood that will unite, uplift, and inspire audiences of all ages. The Philadelphia native first became serious about performing while attending the University of South Carolina during the mid-'90s. After graduating with a degree in English, he taught elementary school before deciding to pursue a music career full-time. A period of waiting tables and bartending followed as Lee honed his songwriting skills. He eventually landed some high-profile gigs as an opening act, including an extended tour with pianist/vocalist Norah Jones, whose bassist, Lee Alexander, agreed to produce Lee's first album.Purchase Tickets 3 Ways:
