Sons of Serendip make an appearance in the historic Palace Theatre in downtown Stamford CT, on December 22, 2015 at 8pm. Two local choirs, Stamford's Faith Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church and The Greenwich Public School's Honor Choir are featured throughout the show, accompanying Sons Of Seredip. the concert just two days before Christmas, this performance is the quintessential holiday celebration for families to sing along with, lovers of holiday music and anyone who appreciates unique blends of musical genres. These season nine finalists on America's Got Talent have also performed with the Boston Pops and alongside
John Legend and
Jay Leno.
The nine-city holiday tour CHRISTMAS: Beyond the Lights, brings orchestral and acoustic interpretations of modern and traditional pop classics, arranged with vocals, cello, harp and piano. Most recently, Beyond the Lights was included on the
NYT's Best Holiday Music listing.
The Sons of Serendip (SoS) are a musical ensemble of four friends, who through a series of serendipitous events, came together in graduate school at Boston University and auditioned for America's Got Talent.
SoS quickly became an audience favorite, winning fourth place in the 2014 competition. The members are; Micah Christian, a teacher from Randolph, MA and the lead singer for the group; pianist/vocalist Cordaro Rodriguez, an attorney from Charlotte, NC; Kendall Ramseur, a cellist and cello instructor from Charlotte, NC and harpist Mason Morton, a teacher from Atlanta. All have been playing their instruments since childhood.
