Mountain Fever Records is proud to announce Amanda Cook has signed a multi-year deal with the label. The seven year agreement will include the release of five full-length albums with the newest due for release early 2019.
With the overwhelming success of Deep Water, Amanda's debut album for Mountain Fever released September 2017, this bright-eyed, light-hearted, Florida native has become a household name among bluegrass fans. Her album debuted at #6 on Billboard's Top 10 Bluegrass Albums and has been on Sirius XM's Most Played Albums chart for 9 consecutive months, with tracks from the album remaining on Bluegrass Today's Top 20 Songs chart 10 out of 13 weeks.
"Mountain Fever Records has been such a wonderful home for me and my music," says Amanda. "They have shown such faith in me and have taken all the right steps to get my music in front of radio, promoters, and fans. I've worked very hard over the last year but without the support of Mountain Fever, I don't believe I would have experienced such growth as an artist. I feel reciprocating that confidence is so important and I look forward to a long relationship with my Mountain Fever family."
Amanda Cook has been selected as an official International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) Showcase Artist and plans to make the most of her efforts at World of Bluegrass in Raleigh, NC this fall with multiple scheduled appearances. "I think at this stage in my career, it's so important to put all the effort we can into our time at World of Bluegrass and to take advantage of the opportunities. My band and I are excited to put our best music forward."
Mountain Fever will release a single from Amanda Cook's new record soon, with the complete album scheduled for early 2019. For more information on Amanda Cook, visit www.AmandaCookBluegrass.com. For more information on Mountain Fever Records, visit www.MountainFever.com.
