Alt-pop singer / songwriter, Josephina, releases the music video for her debut single "Woosah" today - watch HERE! The audio is also available today worldwide on Spotify and iTunes (links below). Josephina, an emerging artist, arrives on the scene with a bass-heavy and blissed-out track dripping with fresh fierceness. Its title is a nod to a scene in the classic buddy cop film "Bad Boys II." In the flick, actors Martin Lawrence and Will Smith use the word as a breathing exercise amid stressful situations. Josephina puts a personal twist on the term, using it to radiate good vibes and being calm with herself and who she is.
Josephina co-wrote "Woosah" with Morten "Pilo" Pilegaard and Trey Campbell. Pilo produced multiple songs on Lukas Graham's breakout album, including the smash "7 Years." She shows off her feisty side in the official music video also out today. Glam and flirtatious, Josephina exudes "American Beauty" vibes as she draws you into her world, rose in tow. Her debut EP, out early 2018, features Josephina's original songwriting, and weaves in elements of electronic music, hip-hop, and R&B with her alt-pop sound.

About Josephina: Josephina is an alt-pop singer living in Los Angeles, CA. Growing up in Virginia Beach, raised by a Cuban mother and British father, Josephina discovered her passion for music as a little kid. At age 16, she took her singing talents to social media, partly inspired by a previous fascination with YouTube cover artists. Soon after she'd begun posting her covers of tracks by artists like Frank Ocean and Foster the People, Josephina gained a major following, and eventually earned the attention of management and production companies across the country. Her six-track debut EP, which combines her playful lyricism with an electro pop sensibility, is slated for an early 2018 release.
