Alex Clare Performs at Hard Rock Cafe on the Las Vegas Strip, 4/18; Tickets on Sale 12/21

British singer-songwriter Alex Clare comes to Hard Rock Cafe on the Las Vegas Strip Thursday, April 18.

Born in Southwark London, England, Clare's musical career took off when Microsoft featured his hit single 'Too Close' in an advertising campaign. The alternative rock song pairs Clare's soul-tinged vocals with a dubstep bass line and hair-raising rave-anthem chords, resulting in a unique international success. The song reached No. 4 on the UK Singles Chart, and was one of the top 10 songs on the Billboard Hot 100.

Clare has always had an interest in drum and bass, dubstep and UK garage music, which eventually led to a deal with the Island Label in UK. His debut studio album, The Lateness of the Hour, was produced by Major Lazer and Mike Spencer. The collaboration with such internationally renowned producers brought even more attention to Clare's music. Featuring singles such as 'Up All Night', 'Treading Water' and the hit song 'Too Close', the album peaked at No. 17 on the UK Albums Chart.

The concert takes place on Thursday, April 18. 8 p.m. doors. 18 and up. The Hard Rock Cafe on the Strip is located at 3771 Las Vegas Blvd S. (Across from Monte Carlo) in Las Vegas, Nevada.
