According to the Associated Press, a concert promoter for Aerosmith reveals that the band has canceled the show they had planned in Indonesia amid security concerns. This comes one day after a terrorist threat was issued against the Myanmar Embassy there.
Aerosmith was scheduled to perform in front of a near sold out crowd of 15,000 in Jakarta, the nation's capital. The band canceled the show on Saturday, a day after Indonesia says it arrested two alleged militants with bombs. It remains to be seen whether the cancellation has any direct correlation to the bomb plot.
Aerosmith and the band's management apologized to their fans through the promoter's, Ismaya Live, website.
