Los Angeles-based acoustic guitar duo EVERETT COAST has put their own spin on several iconic pop, rock and reggae hits. Available now digitally, Everett Covers Vol. 1 (Live at Ultratone Studios) includes unique renditions of songs by Michael Jackson, Green Day, The Beach Boys, Bob Marley and the current single, "Say It Ain't So" from Weezer.

"Every time we play these covers out live, multiple people ask if they can find recordings of them online," the band shares. "After so many requests, we decided it was time to get them out on record and make them available to the world. We hope everyone loves them as much as we do!"

EVERETT COAST--Josh Misko (guitar, ukulele, vocals) and Danny Byrne (guitar, keys, vocals)--began performing together in 2011 after a mutual friend introduced the two, who were both studying music at Musicians Institute in Los Angeles. The pair has released two self-produced EPs, Hey, Hey, California (2013) and Lift Off (2015), and earlier this year they teamed up with legendary producer Shel Talmy (The Who, The Kinks, David Bowie) for an EP called The Shel Talmy Sessions. The 5-track release was engineered by Johnny Lee Schell (Bonnie Raitt, The Blues Brothers, Taj Mahal) and mastered by Rob Fraboni (Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, The Beach Boys) and included three 60's classics and two original songs, including "Bye Bye Baby" written by John Keller, known for writing material for Wynonna, Etta James and most notably "Love Is," sung by Brian McKnight and Vanessa Williams.

The band is gearing up for a pair of Los Angeles-area performances: June 8 at Hotel Café (7pm) and June 15 at Saint Rocke in Hermosa Beach (8pm). For live shows, the duo is joined by drummer Christian Hogan and upright bassist Stephen Andrews. More dates will be added.

1. P.Y.T. (Michael Jackson)

2. Say It Ain't So (Weezer)

3. Basket Case feat. Johnny Lee Schell (Green Day)
