Acclaimed singer-songwriter-producer Bazzi continues be the breakout star of 2018, dominating the charts with his smash single "Mine." Today marks the release of "Gone," another taste of his forthcoming debut full-length mixtape (due this spring). Complementing the Detroit-pop/R&B sounds of "Mine" and previously released track "Why", "Gone" features Bazzi's signature smooth vocals and flow over a mesmerizing, hard hitting, hip-hop influenced track co-produced by himself and Rice N Peas.
Bazzi's massive single "Mine" currently boasts over 70 million streams and a top 25 position on the Billboard Hot 100 (#22 the week of 2/24). Following incredible editorial support from Apple Music, the track hit #1 on their Pop Streaming chart and soon-after climbed to #1 on Spotify's US & Global Viral 50 charts (currently #3 on Global Top 50 chart). "Mine" has received co-signs by the likes of BTS via Twitter and Taylor Swift on Spotify as the first track on her latest "Songs Taylor Loves" playlist, in addition to reaching top 30 positions on iTunes and Shazam (#1 worldwide this week). The song was also used by millions on Snapchat thanks to a worldwide lens featuring the track on Valentine's Day.
Born to a Lebanese immigrant father and American mother in Dearborn, MI and currently based in Los Angeles, the talented tunesmith first made waves with a number of hugely popular online releases including "Beautiful" and "Alone." Bazzi was recently announced on the lineup for this year's Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, with additional live dates to be announced soon.
