Nearly 10 years after the release of their debut album, post-hardcore/punk super group Able Baker Fox have finally gotten back on the horse. Visions, the outfit's long-awaited follow up to their 2008 debut Voices, is out today via No Sleep Records.
Since 2008, Able Baker Fox have been almost completely mum, barring a reunion performance at 2014's Fest. That same year, Small Brown Bike and The Casket Lottery released a collaborative 12" foreshadowing the future of their project. Visions picks up right where Able Baker Fox left off, following a long tradition of Midwestern/East Coast-tinged post-hardcore that wouldn't have been out of place alongside Jade Tree's early '00-era roster. Just like many of their predecessors, the four-piece outfit tapped the legendary J. Robbins (Hey Mercedes, Dismemberment Plan, MewithoutYou, Jets to Brazil) to record their much-anticipated release in a four-day, marathon session at The Mapgpie Cage Recording Studio in Baltimore, Maryland.TOUR DATES
