The national touring band, Abbey Road - A Tribute to the Beatles, brings their three costume change show to the Grove Theatre in Upland, to lend support to a Riverside Dachshund rescue organization. This fundraiser, entitled Helter Shelter, will be held on Saturday, August 25 at 8:00 pm. Singer/songwriter and actor Austin Anderson will open the show. Raffles and an auction will also take place prior to and during the event. Pre-show events begin at 7:00 pm.

Abbey Road will perform a 90-minute Beatles concert with three costume changes reflecting the different eras of the iconic band. Anderson, who stars on the smash hit Nickelodeon show "Victorious" as Pete, and is featured in a soon to be released movie, "Wiener Dog Nationals," will perform a 25 minute set of his original songs.

The benefit is hosted by the Sunny Oasis Rescue for Dachshunds and Friends, a non-profit, all-volunteer organization in Riverside dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing of abandoned, abused or injured Dachshunds and other dogs. Sunny Oasis rescues, rehabilitates and finds permanent home placements for 75-100 dogs per year. They provide necessary medical treatment, vaccinations, spaying and neutering, and correction of behavioral problems. Dachshunds are a short-legged, long-bodied dog breed belonging to the hound family.

With their tight harmonies, flawless note for note renditions of Beatles hits, custom-tailored costumes, vintage instruments, Liverpudlian dialect and precise attention to every detail, Abbey Road - A Tribute to the Beatles has honed their show to become one of the most musically and visually satisfying Beatle tribute acts in the world. The band also performs in a national touring, award-winning musical about the Beatles called In My Life.

Austin Anderson just sealed a two movie deal with Camelot Entertainment playing "Skip Jack" with Morgan Fairchild and Jason London. His original song "Finish Line" is featured in the movie and performed by Anderson. In addition to starring on "Victorious", he is also a main cast member on the new show from Dick Clark Productions "The Real Teens of Hollywood". He has appeared on the "Tonight Show" with Jay Leno and "The Ellen Degeneres Show".

An auction and raffles will take also place to raise money for dog rescue efforts. Appearances will be made by dogs featured in the recently completed film, "Wiener Dog Nationals," and a there will be a book signing by Amy Caetta who wrote "Geenie and the Weenie Race."

Tickets are $30 and may be purchased online at www.grovetheatre.com or by calling the box office at (909) 920 - 4343.
