Aaron Carter brings over 50 new national dates to "The After Party" tour after 75 hit, beginning September 9th. "The After Party" is a reference to his well known record Aaron's Party (Come Get It) released in 2000. On the tour Carter has been performing his girl-screaming induced songs like "I Want Candy" that made his fans fall for him years ago. He has sold out many dates this summer and will continue to tour through December with anticipation building for his new EP release this year - ahead of a planned studio album.
Carter missed being in front of his fans stating, "I'm so excited to be back on the road again. It's truly the only place I can call home. My fans have been extremely supportive throughout the years and I can't wait to see them all. " Carter still holds the record of the youngest male solo artist to have four Top 40 Singles.
Carter has been charming audiences on-stage since he was cast as the lead in the world's longest running musical, The Fantastics. Carter was familiar with the theater after his role in Seussical and as a contestant on "Dancing With the Stars" in 2009, but it was his time in The Fantastics that really marked a new era for Carter. His time on stage with The Fantastics highlighted Carter's commitment to pushing the boundaries in both his career and exploring his interests beyond the world of commercial music that Carter was groomed for. He wasted no time after his role in The Fantastisc, embarking on his tour immediately after his role in the show. Carter has been focusing on music every chance he gets - when he's not performing, he writes and records for his future releases.
