AUDIO: First Listen - Touche's 'Bad Dreams'

Touché aka Alex Lilly and Bram Inscore will release their self-released debut LP It's Fate, May 1, 2013. Taking the iconic disco-era to new levels with synths and rhythms slicing through like karate chops of pop, the dreamy Californian duo has already received accolades from XLR8R to ELLE. Kicking off a spring tour with select dates alongside Twin Shadow, Touché will touch down on the west coast in support of It's Fate.

Touché previously premiered an explosive teaser track "Shhh! It's Quiet Time" with MTV Hive. Today the duo has debuted "Bad Dreams," a funky ballad laced with brassy horns, where synths and vocals blend seamlessly. Click below to listen!

It's Fate is decorated with syncopated beats, experimental vocals and unexpected arpeggios - reverbed and distorted, yet smooth and warm.

Touché's two halves touch upon hallucinogenic and esoteric ideas, aiming to find the place where their psyches overlap. The result is anthemic pop pieces darkened by the desires of the human heart and sharpened by personal politics.
