Summer's getting older. Celestial Shore's anticipated debut album has been waiting for that perfect, warm afternoon to tell you everything. Today, the Brooklyn trio released "Swimmer's Sinking Feeling", the final track on 10x and its great resonator. As Sam Owens' and Empress Of's Lorely Rodriguez's voices weave around each other, Celestial Shore presents the album's most climactic rock song, wakes up the sweetest musical ghosts of the past three decades, and reminds you to grab somebody and run outside. 10x is out September 3 on Portland, OR-based Hometapes and Brooklyn, NY-based Local Singles (the new label from Brad Oberhofer). Today it is available for pre-order on limited edition clear vinyl LP, as well as CD. 10x was mixed by Deerhoof's Greg Saunier, features cover art by Prince Rama, and guest vocals by the aforementioned Lorely Rodriguez.
Among shows around their hometown at Silent Barn, Pianos, and Manhattan Inn, Celestial Shore made a surprise appearance opening for legendary surf guitarist Dick Dale at Brooklyn Bowl. Their dates continue over the next month, including shows with Delicate Steve and Boyfrndz...and CMJ on the horizon.Tour Dates:
