Arctic Monkeys will be coming to the U.S. later this year for a 24-date North American tour. The news marks the first time the group has toured in the U.S. since the release of their fifth album, "AM," which hit No. 6 in America on the Billboard 200, selling 42,000 copies in its first week - the band's best U.S. sales week so far.
According to
Radio.com, the tour will launch with a two-date stop in Vancouver on Dec. 3 in Seattle and will wrap up with a Feb. 14 show in Minneapolis, Minn. Indie rockers
Deerhunter will support the band during its dates at Boston's Agganis Arena (Feb. 6) and New York's Madison Square Garden (Feb. 8).
