This morning, the highly anticipated artist lineup for the 31st annual 99.5 WYCD Downtown Hoedown, presented by Ram Trucks, Coors Light and Coca Cola, was officially announced on The All New Dr. Don Morning Show featuring some of country's greatest superstars including Jake Owen, Uncle Kracker, Joe Nichols and Craig Morgan. The weekend-long event will once again turn the expansive grounds surrounding Comerica Park into county music central from Friday, May 31 through Sunday, June 2. Last year's 30th anniversary event marked a tremendous milestone for Detroit's original country music must-see summer event with its debut move to Comerica Park.
"We are very excited about bringing the WYCD Downtown Hoedown back to the Comerica Park grounds for a second year. This is an iconic event and this location offers us the opportunity to enrich the overall experience while staying in Downtown Detroit," noted Debbie Kenyon, Sr. VP/Market Manager for CBS RADIO Detroit. "In addition to another fantastic lineup at this years' Downtown Hoedown, we can offer the best of everything on the user-friendly grounds surrounding Comerica Park. There is great line of sight to see the performers, easy access to concessions, plentiful restroom facilities and people feel very safe in this area. Plus, there are opportunities to take a break in the shade of the Comerica Park Concourse and enjoy some of the great local talent on an additional stage inside the stadium."

Jake Owen, country music star, said: "The annual Hoedown is always an epic event and I'm thrilled to be a part of it this year. Can't wait to hang with the WYCD staff and play for all of my Detroit friends!"
Keeping with tradition, local bands from the Motor City are invited to submit their band's information at WYCD.com for a chance to be 'picked to play' at this year's 31st annual 99.5 WYCD Downtown Hoedown.
