If you stumbled into a nightclub anywhere in the world between 1985 and today, chances are you've heard the song that put Trans-X on the map, the magnificent, high energy electro pop masterpiece "Living On Video." One of the most adored dancefloor fillers of the '80s, "Living On Video" was conceived and composed by Canadian musician Pascal Languirand in 1981 and released in 1983 as a 7" single, but didn't achieve its full potential until its re-release in 1985 when it became a massive worldwide hit and blew up dance charts around the globe. Many years and countless imitators later, Pascal and Trans-X are still going strong, releasing new music and performing at venues on multiple continents. The group recently signed with L.A.-based indie powerhouse Cleopatra Records who will release Anthology on April 28th, a new single disc collection of highlights from the group's most recent albums along with new recordings of hits including "Living On Video" plus two cuts from Pascal's more ambient solo efforts.
