After two days and dozens of history making performances, the fifth annual iHeartRadio Music Festival hosted by Ryan Seacrest, host and producer of "On Air with Ryan Seacrest," concluded Saturday evening at the MGM Grand Garden arena in Las Vegas with unforgettable performances by Kanye West, Sam Smith, Coldplay, Puff Daddy, Demi Lovato, David Guetta, Kenny Chesney, The Weeknd, Tove Lo, Lil Wayne, Fall Out Boy, Disclosure, Hozier, Jason Derulo, Duran Duran, Prince Royce, Diplo, Trey Songz, The Killers, Jennifer Lopez, Blake Shelton, Nick Jonas and more. Plus, this year's Macy's iHeartRadio Rising Star winner, Christina Grimmie.
Through a national text-to-win contest more than hundreds of lucky winners from across the country were awarded exclusive VIP trips to the two-day concert event. For fans not in attendance, the iHeartRadio Music Festival broadcasted live on iHeartMedia radio stations across 150 markets and streamed live on Yahoo Live (yahoo.com/iheart) each night. The iHeartRadio Music Festival will return to The CW Network as an exclusive two-night special on September 29 and 30 from 8:00-10:00 p.m.
The iHeartRadio Music Festival, which debuted five years ago in celebration of the successful iHeartRadio all-in-one digital service, has quickly become one of the most talked about music events of the year. In the past four years the Festival has helped raise $1.5 million for a number of national charities, including the American Association of Cancer Research, Alliance for Lupus Research, Muscular Dystrophy Association, Ryan Seacrest Foundation, CureDuchenne, Autism Speaks and many more. Additionally, the Festival plays host to a number of critically ill children and their families through its partnership with Make-a-Wish Foundation and other similar organizations.
