As part of the 3FM Radio ‘Serious Request' charity campaign, Armin van Buuren - together with DJ's Jochen Miller and Erik Arbores - will perform in Stadsgehoorzaal in Leiden on Tuesday December 20th. All parties involved in setting up the event work on this for free, and the proceeds will go straight to the Red Cross via the Serious Request campaign. Armin van Buuren, ambassador of the city of Leiden, kicked off the ticket sale of the event on Dutch radio station 3FM this afternoon.
From 18 to 24 December, the so called ‘House of Glass' of 3FM's Serious Request campaign will be situated on the Beestenmarkt in the centre of Leiden. For 6 days, three radio deejays of radio station 3FM will lock themselves into the house and aren't allowed to eat anything. In return for donations, the deejays will play track request for 24 hours each day, along with special auctions and other ways to raise money. One of them is ‘Armin van Buuren for 3FM Serious Request' on December 20th. Armin will be spinning in the imposing Stadgehoorzaal of Leiden, together with Jochen Miller and the 14-year old DJ talent Erik Arbores. The event will take place from 21.00 to 02:00.
Armin:"It's fantastic that we were able to set up the event at this beautiful location in my home town. Music connects us all and that's exactly what appeals me about the 3FM Serious Request campaign. We can help people not only by showing a little generosity, but also by sharing our passion for music."
Tickets are € 35,- and are available via Ticketscript: http://bit.ly/TicketsArminforSRQ or www.aldaevents.nl.
