3D Live Powers Visuals for Flying Lotus in 3D Show

A visual, "holographic" 3D experience unlike anything audiences have ever seen, the upcoming North American concert tour by Flying Lotus will be powered by 3D Live, combining Flying Lotus' mind-bending music, an elaborate light show produced by Strangeloop Studios, 3D Live and Timeboy and featuring 3D Live's immersive LED screens.

The visual show, which had its premiere at FYF Fest in July is touring throughout the U.S. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased HERE.

The in-house creative team at L.A.-based 3D Live worked with Strangeloop Studios and Timeboy to produce overwhelming, awe-inspiring 3D visuals for the show, which the artist at times will seem to conjure out of thin air.

Making for a mixture of both the bizarre and twisted and the beautiful and serene, the virtual environments will seem to leap off the screen and stretch out over audiences, creating an unprecedented blend of musical and visual performance incorporating digital and real-world elements for an experience that has to be seen to be believed - and all made possible through 3D Live'spatented, exclusive 3D LED technology.

"Everything about what 3D Live has done for the concert tour is going to blow people away," said Flying Lotus, whose recent work includes directing Sundance film Kuso, and creating the original score for the animated short Blade Runner: Blackout 2022.

"Working with Flying Lotus on this tour is helping us expend our creative horizons and push the limits of what is possible in 3D,"said Ryan Pardeiro, chief operating officer of 3D Live, whose projects have also included the award-winning Mass Effect: New Earth attraction at California's Great America and the Music of Light stage show for Disney Pixar's "Inside/Out" at the El Capitan theater in Hollywood.

"Their team are extraordinary on both the technical and creative side, and have helped us take the visual show into the crowd, and literally appear in 3d space."

The Flying Lotus national tour continues 3D Live's creative and technological development in music and live concert performances. 3D Live's core technology was originally developed for Michael Jackson's planned This Is It concert series, and since then has been featured in performances by such revolutionary musicians as Primus and Morgan Page, and also featured at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
