Dry Diggings Festival announces its day schedule for the second annual Labor Day weekend extravaganza which will be held in Placerville, California at the El Dorado Fairgrounds from September 2-3.
Last week, the 22 Band, 2-Stage, 2-Day onsite camping event announced its third round of artists with soulful, pungent acts as Cas Haley, Through The Roots, Dustin Thomas and Elements of Soul, as well as two dynamicfemale new-comers to the American reggae-rock scene, Brazilian Reggae-Pop artist KELLSA and Jamaican Reggae artist, Jovi Rockwell. Both artists' bring some international flavor to the festival and have combined song features with Capleton, Elephant Man, Mr. Vegas, Major Lazer and Jesse Royal to name a few.
Existing acts consist of Rebelution, The Expendables, Fortunate Youth, Passafire, The Movement, HIRIE, The Steppas, Arden Park Roots, E.N. Young, GONZO, Arise Roots, Ethan Tucker and Simple Creation. The third and final round of artists will be announced at months end and will include one more headlining act and a few notables.

The festival will highlight hand selected artisan, commercial and food vendors, which will include gluten and wheat free options. Some of the finest local craft brews, as Sierra Nevada, Lagunitas Brewing Co. and Altamont Beer Works brew. A large selection of craft brews will be available throughout the weekend, with complimentary beer tastings being held on Saturday, from 1:30-3pm with 10-15 brands to chose from. The Beer Knowledge Zone will be filled with beer connoisseurs, who can provide answers to all "how is it made" questions.
In addition to the live music, other fun weekend activities include Cornhole and Beer Pong tournaments throughout the weekend. General admission weekend passes are $85, with parking passes at an additional $40. If camping, weekend fees are set at $100, or $325 with an RV.
