The Corn Hill Neighbors Association is delighted to announce that the 50th Annual Corn Hill Arts Festival, presented by ESL Federal Credit Union, will take place July 14th and 15th, in historic Corn Hill.
In celebration of this significant milestone, the Neighbors Association has unveiled a new Festival brand, including a new graphic identity that artfully highlights the iconic Lunsford Circle gazebo and a new message to visitors, "Come for the art. Stay for it all", which articulates the range of experiences that the event now offers.
"For those who recall, 1969 was an unmistakably lively and fascinating year," said the 2018 Chairperson, Bill Kelly. "We plan to honor and celebrate many of the year's historic milestones, in addition to the inception of our Festival. Our goal with the new branding is to celebrate both where we have come from and what we have becomea weekend of art and fun in the heart of our city. And while art remains the core of the Festival, we now offer so much more. There truly is something for everyone!"
In addition to the vast selection of art, music, food, beer, wine and kids activities that people have come to know and love, this year's special anniversary will include celebratory themed events that tie into 1969, the year the Festival originated.
"ESL is pleased to be the presenting sponsor of the 50th anniversary of the Corn Hill Arts Festival," said Faheem Masood, President/CEO, ESL Federal Credit Union. "We are looking forward to all the celebratory activities that will mark this milestone before, and during the Festival. The Festival provides a wonderful way for the community to honor, and preserve such a rich tradition, and history."
