2018 Las Cruces Country Music Festival Lineup Announced Including Dwight Yoakam, Randy Houser and Rick Trevino Image

Are you ready for some great country fun? The Las Cruces Country Music Festival, New Mexico's largest country music festival, is back this fall for another weekend of legendary country music October 19-21, 2018.

The Festival kicks off Friday, October 19 with a stellar lineup featuring Dwight Yoakam, Frankie Ballard and King Leg on the South Stage. The trio has accounted for dozens of country hits and awards including Yoakam's two Grammys, five number one singles and nine platinum albums.

On Saturday night, the festivities continue with country stars Randy Houser, Sawyer Brown, and rising star Brennin Hunt. Houser, a nine-time nominated CMT and ACM recipient, has charted country hits like "Anything Goes", "Boots On," "Whistlin' Dixie," "I'm All About It," and many more. Sawyer Brown had success in the 1980s and 1990s with hits like "Leona," "Some Girls Do" and "Thank God for You".

Opening on Saturday will be Brennin Hunt, an actor and musician best known for the role of Sullivan Fitzgerald on the hit television series "Nashville."

Sunday will feature regional artists, as well as a performance by Grammy award-winning Rick Trevino. Trevino's debut single "Just Enough Rope," the first mainstream country music single to feature separate English and Spanish-language versions. He went on to chart 14 singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, reaching number one with "Running Out of Reasons to Run."

Over on the North Stage, local and regional favorites will keep the music going in between acts on the South Stage.

In addition to all the great music, the Festival will feature activities for the entire family including food, vendors, and a free kids' area.

Celebrating its sixth year, the Festival has established itself as one of Las Cruces and New Mexico's premier events. 2018 marks new dates and location for the popular event, previously held the last week in April in downtown Las Cruces; growing attendance every year finally forced the Festival to find a new home that can accommodate the anticipated crowds. The CMF has hosted country legends like Kenny Rogers Charlie Daniels, Tanya Tucker, Travis Tritt and the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. The Festival has also featured many of the future stars of country music including Kacey Musgraves, Dustin Lynch, Cassadee Pope, Cam, Chase Bryant, and the Swon Brothers, each having seen early success on the country charts.

Gates open at 5 pm on Friday, 4 pm on Saturday, and 11 am on Sunday.

Tickets are now on sale online at and in person. Single day passes for Friday or Saturday are $35, Sunday single day passes are $10. Weekend passes for Friday, Saturday and Sunday are $60 through June 17, and $70 thereafter. VIP passes, which include a Thursday night VIP party and VIP seating at all concerts, are $150. A variety of contests will be open to early ticket buyers, with prizes including Country Music Festival-branded merchandise and more.

Members of the military are offered a $5 discount on day and weekend passes when they purchase tickets at the Visit Las Cruces office at 336 S. Main Street. Limit one per person with valid military ID.
