The Latin Recording Academy®, Eventus and Univision announce the schedule and talent roster for the upcoming 2012 Latin GRAMMY® Street Parties, celebrating its 10th year. The six-city cross-country festival will lead up to the XIII Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards® Telecast on November 15 in Las Vegas. Kicking off onSunday, September 30, in Chicago, the tour will roll into the top Hispanic communities across the country making stops inHouston on October 7, Dallas on October 14, and Los Angeles on October 21. For the first time in its history, the Latin GRAMMY Street Parties will visit San Jose, Calif., on October 28, finishing the celebration in Miami on November 4.

Year after year, this high-energy music fest leads up to the annual Latin GRAMMY Awards, the most prestigious award in Latin music, and brings its excitement to communities around the country with the heaviest concentration of Hispanics. The awards show telecast will be broadcast live from Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, on Thursday, November 15 from 8 – 11 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. Central) on the Univision network.
The Latin GRAMMY Street Parties capture the excitement surrounding the Latin GRAMMY Awards by offering an interactive traveling musical festival for Hispanics, which includes live entertainment, sponsor display areas, and product sampling. The series features performances by some of Latin music's established artists, while serving as a launching platform for emerging talent representing various genres, including reggaeton, regional Mexican, pop, rock en espanol, and tropical, among others. This year, more than any other, the Latin GRAMMY Street Parties have put together blowout musical lineups across the U.S. as part of the celebration of its ongoing success as the premier national Hispanic music series.
The 2012 Latin GRAMMY Street Parties are presented by McDonald's® and 7UP®. Its official sponsor, Las Vegas, will give away a VIP trip to the destination giving lucky fans the opportunity to experience the XIII Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards ceremony live.
