In celebration of their 10 year anniversary, Ritenuto Foundation, is proud to present The 2013 Wall Street Jazz Festival - "where the traditions meet the progressives, and all the leaders are women".

This year brings another stellar line-up for this weekend's August 30 and 31 event:

This year's Art of the Duo concert will feature Piano Duos, with Dena Derose, Francesca Tanksley, Nina Sheldon, and Peggy Stern. The concert will take place on Friday night August 30, at the Old Dutch Church, Wall Street & Main Street, 8 p.m., tickets $15 at the door.

The next day, the traditional outdoor concert, held at the corner of North Front and Wall Streets, will begin at 6 p.m., with the Claire Daly Quartet. Continuing at 7-9 p.m., with the All-Play Set, featuring an all-star cast: Ingrid Jensen, Jay Clayton, "Sweet" Sue Terry, Teri Roiger, Judi Silvano, Dena Derose, MaryAnn McSweeney, Francesca Tanksley, Peggy Stern, John Menegon, Jon Wikan, Lew Scott, Peter O'Brien, Claire Daly, and Suzi Stern. This highly unusual set will feature mixed duos, trios, quartets and quintets, and represents a first mix-and-match for the Wall street Jazz Festival.

Then at 9 p.m., Estrella! Salsa, for dancing in the street! Estrella features Sue Terry, Ingrid Jensen, and Claire Daly in the front line, with back up from an all-star rhythm section: Peggy Stern, Lew Scott, Peter O'Brien, and Emilio Valdez.

For the past 9 years, our Festival has been fortunate to have beautiful weather for our outdoor event; we are expecting the trend to continue - however, in the case of rain, the concert will be moved indoors to Backstage Productions, 323 Wall Street.
