Today, singer-songwriter-producer Johnny Yukon unveils his debut project Installation I (pronounced installation one) on Yukon Sound / Atlantic records. The 11-track collection is available now at all DSPs; listen here https://lnk.to/InstallationPR.

"Installation I is my first project as an artist," says Yukon. "To me, it's not just music, but a fully realized art installation for you to experience visually and sonically. There was thought put into every single detail, and I hope you guys love it."

All songs on Installation I have been co-written and co-produced by Yukon, who over the past couple of years has been establishing himself as an in-demand songwriter with placements ranging from Ty Dolla $ign and Young Thug to Camila Cabello and Leon Bridges. Installation I was co-produced alongside notable writer-producer-musician Burns (Rae Sremmurd, Kacy Hill).

Over a smoked-out mélange of R&B, abstract pop, and hip-hop, Pennsylvania-born and Los Angeles-based Yukon threads together an all-encompassing experience for his debut project, Installation I. Enhanced by grainy visuals captured on Super 8 film and fashion-forward stills rooted in vintage, yet modern panache, Yukon upholds consistent cinematic motifs across sound and style. His world draws as much from Kubrickian attention to detail and Christopher Nolan-style scope as it does from unpredictable production and hazy melodicism.

Yukon has been consistently dropping tracks and visuals from Installation I over the past few months, steadily gaining intrigue and igniting a groundswell of early fan and tastemaker support. Johnny first dropped "Lonely," accompanied by avisual that premiered on Ones To Watch, who declared the clip "an enticing sampling of what's to come." "Lonely" also received extremely high placement on Spotify's New Music Friday, marking early support from the platform.
