Fry Street Quartet In Residence at The Hartt School This Summer

The Fry Street Quartet will be in residence at The Hartt School Community Division July 29 through August 7, working with advanced teenaged string players in the David Einfeldt Chamber Music Seminar. The week-long seminar features a performance by the Quartet on Tuesday, August 2, at 6:00 PM in Lincoln Theater. This concert is free and open to the public. The Fry Street Quartet includes William Fedkenheuer, violin; Rebecca McFaul, violin; Bradley Ottesen, viola; and Anne Francis, cello. Their August 3 program includes Haydn's String Quartet in D Major, Op. 17, no. 6, Shostakovich's String Quartet no. 7, and Dvorak's String Quartet in F Major, Op. 96, the "American."
