According to The Hollywood Reporter, Malcolm D. Lee's seasonal comedy THE BEST MAN HOLIDAY beat THOR: THE DARK WORLD at Friday's box office by a hair, though BEST MAN HOLIDAY's top spot will likely be short-lived.
THOR 2 brought in $10.5 million for its second Friday takings and is aiming for over $35 million this weekend, which would bring its global sales near $450 million. BEST MAN HOLIDAY is dancing toward $30 million in its debut weekend; The Comedy was originally projected to bring in $20 million.
