The famed horror team of director James Wan and writer Leigh Whannell reunite with the original cast of Broadway vet Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, Lin Shaye, Barbara Hershey and Ty Simpkins in INSIDIOUS: CHAPTER 2, a terrifying sequel to the acclaimed horror film, which follows the haunted Lambert family as they seek to uncover the mysterious childhood secret that has left them dangerously connected to the spirit world.

BWW reported yesterday that INSIDIOUS 2 is also Fandango's No. 1 ticket-seller of the week. Check out what the reviewers are saying about the movie in BWW's round-up.

Also debuting this weekend is THE FAMILY, starring Robert de Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer and Tommy Lee Jones. Directed and written by Luc Besson and produced by Martin Scorsese, THE FAMILY drew $5.3 million on Friday and looks to a $15.5 million weekend for Relativity and Europacorp.
