The Heights' New Best Restaurant for Brunch: Gigi's On Fairmount Offers French-Influenced Saturday Cafe Brunch by Popular Demand

"It started with a simple question," says Gia Patsch, one of the owners of Gigi's on Fairmount, the neighborhood Heights bistro. "We floated the idea that we might start offering brunch on Saturdays. The response from our customers was a resounding YES!"

Co-owner Jim Patsch, Gia's husband, added, "Less than two years ago, we started Gigi's on Fairmount as a small, 45-seat restaurant. Since then, we've expanded out onto the patio, and created our cozy New York style cocktail lounge, Gigi's After Dark."

"As we grow, we want to evolve and meet the needs of our amazing community, and keep things fresh." said Gia. "Offering brunch is another way to do that. We also have some exciting new ideas for giving back to the community, much like our Magnificent Mondays concept."

During brunch, Gigi's After Dark will serve as what the two restaurateurs are calling "The Marys and Mimosas Bar," serving customized Bloody Marys, Mimosas, Bellinis, and other beverages you don't find in a typical breakfast joint.

Jim says, "Since the beginning, our slogan has been 'Eat. Laugh. Wine.' That doesn't change when it's time for brunch." "It's the same special Gigi's on Fairmount experience," adds Gia. "We're not just offering just a meal; it's a warm ambiance, delicious food, and a perfectly paired drink from the bar if you choose. We're offering a chance to spend relaxing, fun times with friends and family on the way to other weekend activities." "We'll go perfectly with a trip to the North Union Farmers Market at Shaker Square, or the Cleveland Flea," suggests Jim.

Brunch debuts Saturday, August 22nd starting at 8am at Gigi's on Fairmount, located in Cleveland Heights at 3477 Fairmount Boulevard, just east of South Taylor Road.
