Raue Center For The Arts is proud to announce they will be hosting their second annual Rauetoberfest, a nod to the traditional Oktoberfest celebration, on September 12 from 4p until 12a at #11129 Illinois Rt 176 Woodstock, IL 60014.
Rauetoberfest will feature all your favorite traditional German food, music and activities and is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate tradition, arts, culture and, of course, beer!
There will be plenty to do for kids and all kids activities will be free of charge and run 4p until 8p. Kids 12 and under enter the fest for free with a paying adult.
Local beverage distributor, Chas Herdrich & Sons will provide authentic German beers and will also feature a locally produced Oktoberfest-style beer by Crystal Lake Brewing.
Music will be a prominent focus of the festivities and will center on old-world-style oom-pah band and local favorite, Die Musikmeisters.
Café 20 (Marengo, IL) hosts one of the areas best Oktoberfest celebrations at their restaurant off of Route 20 and will be providing the food at this year's Rauetoberfest. Get all the traditional favorites from schnitzel to sausage.
The festival will be held in a beer garden fashion on a newly renovated farm outside of Crystal Lake. Guests should be sure to bring their appetites to this traditional celebration, which promises to quench all their thirsts and provide hours of interactive entertainment, all in the true spirit of an authentic German Oktoberfest.
All proceed from Rauetoberfest go directly to support Raue Center For The Arts' mission to bring the arts to all.
