GUERNEVILLE, Calif., Feb. 11, 2016 /PRNewswire/ Korbel California Champagne joins "Premio Lo Nuestro a la Msica Latina" as the "Official Champagne" of the 28 th annual event on February 18 in Miami. As an official sponsor of the highly anticipated awards show, Korbel has created an exclusive bottle to allow fans a piece of the glamour and excitement of the show at home.

"Premio Lo Nuestro" is the longest-running and most popular awards show honoring Latin music among U.S. Hispanics. Starting with the glitz and glamour of the Pre-Show carpet, "Premio Lo Nuestro" will air on the Univision Network LIVE from the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida on Thursday, February 18th, 2016, at 7 p.m. ET/PT (6 p.m. Central).

The commemorative bottle features a glossy, multi-colored design with a bold, black capsule. The front label features the prestigious Premio Lo Nuestro logo in a striking silver font that pops against warm hues of brown, red, navy and yellow on the bottle wrap. The overall design displays a high-energy, yet sophisticated appearance, perfect for toasting this annual celebration of culture and excellence.

Inside the bottle is the award-winning Korbel California Sweet Ros that has bright fruit flavors that naturally pair with fresh fruits, grilled prawns and a variety of ripe cheeses. Made using the time-honoredmthode champenoise, it's a sparkling wine with a vibrant pink hue and is perfect on its own or in cocktails made with fresh fruit juice.

Limited cases were produced of the special Premio Lo Nuestro bottle available in select retail locations with a suggested retail price of $13.99.

Established in 1882, Korbel Champagne Cellars produces the United States' favorite mthode champenoise champagne. Owned and managed by the Heck family since 1954, Korbel currently makes 11 California champagnes and a small amount of still wine. In a separate facility, Korbel also produces one of the country's most popular brandies.
