After an enchanting opening night on Tuesday, L'Eden by Perrier-Jouët didn't disappoint on day two. The iconic champagne brand who's completely transformed the Casa Faena in the famed Faena District into an immersive, unique celebration of nature and wonder, hosted a jam-packed day of extraordinary events on Wednesday, November 30th. Let me know if any of these events are of interest!
During the day, VIP guests were invited to an intimate afternoon soirée on the rooftop at L'Eden by Perrier-Jouët with former Victoria's Secret model Karolina Kurkova and award-winning Argentinean artist, Aerosyn-Lex Mestrovic, who's custom works, inspired by the whimsical Belle Epoque era, are on display throughout the space. Iconic supermodel Elle Macpherson dropped by to say hello to longtime friend and fellow Miamian, Kurkova, who was dressed in a silk Olivia von Halle suit paired with a playful Mark Cross bag. Other notable guests included legendary tennis pro Martina Navratilova and designer and model Barbara Becker.
As the sun started to set, man about town Derek Blasberg hosted sunset cocktails drawing together the who's who of the art and fashion worlds. Siblings and art royalty Stella and Vito Schnabel, art collector Dasha Zhukova, actress Wendi Murdoch, fashion photographer Sebastian Faena, Alan Faena, Faena Art Chair Ximena Caminos, director Yi Zhou, Hassan Pierre, models Andreja Pejic and Alina Baikova, among many others were all in attendance, drinking champagne and enjoying the theatrical stylings of Simon Hammerstein. "It was thrilling to be a part of the exotic jungle that was especially created by L'Eden by Perrier-Jouët at Art Basel in Miami. The combination of the bubbly and nightlife impresario Simon Hammerstein's curated performances made for a memorable night!" said Blasberg, who also made a cameo in the show!
To heat up the night, Perrier-Jouët celebrated renowned modeling agency Wilhelmina in a golden fête to kick-off their 50th anniversary. Guests included the agency's top models and music mogul Russell Simmons.
For the finale and following a chic event hosted by Gucci and Soundcloud, online art gallery Artsy hosted their exclusive after party at L'Eden by Perrier-Jouët where guests sipped rare vintages from the brand's collection. The hip crowd including Artsy founder Carter Cleveland and British artist Daniel Lismore were mesmerized by Hammerstein's show and kept the night going until wee hours.
