DeCadence food festival will return to the picturesque Cadence community's Central Park on Saturday, September 23 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with tasty offerings from Henderson restaurants complemented by one-of-a-kind views of the Las Vegas Strip.

The family-friendly event is open to the public with free admission to the festival grounds and ample, complimentary on-site parking. Families and children can also enjoy Cadence's playground area and splash pad throughout the festivities, as well as live entertainment. Dishes and bites from participating restaurants will be available for purchase.

The event drew a healthy crowd of more than 1,200 visitors and more than a dozen restaurants last year, and organizers expect it to double in size for the second year as new restaurants like Pho King Phenomenal Noodle Lab & Grill join returning favorites.

"We launched DeCadence last year to introduce our new residents to their new favorite restaurants, and to invite the community out to Cadence to celebrate the best of what our city has to offer," said Mark Paris, CEO of Cadence developer The LandWell Company. "This year will be bigger and better, so come, bring your friends, meet your neighbors and enjoy a day outside in our beautiful Central Park, overlooking nearby mountains and the Las Vegas Strip."

The community is still accepting restaurant applications. Interested Henderson-area restaurants should contact Cheryl Gowan at cgowan@landwellco.com. Remaining space will be filled on a first-come-first-served basis.

Cadence is Southern Nevada's first master planned community to break ground in a decade and, upon completion, will boast more than 13,250 homes across 2,200 acres. More than 500 families now call Cadence home. For more information about DeCadence, visit www.CadenceNV.com or call 702-558-9366.
