(5/22/2018) - Jacques d'Amboise, founder of National Dance Institute (NDI) the non-profit organization that has transformed the lives of millions of public school children through the arts, hosted an intimate evening filled with Broadway song and dance. As part of his renowned Art Nest series, Jacques hosts these quarterly fundraising events as an opportunity to surround NDI children with industry professionals and expand their knowledge and understanding of the arts. All proceeds to support NDI's award winning arts education programming. To commemorate Jerome Robbins' 100th birthday, the evening titled, “Upper West Side Story: A Celebration of Jerome Robbins,”was a celebration of Robbins' life, career, and prolific body of work. Jacques took his guests behind the scenes to reveal what it was like to work alongside one of the finest choreographers of our time.

(5/14/2018) - Ballet Hispanico honored Latin music superstars Emilio & Gloria Estefan with the Nuestra Inspiracion Award; legendary fashion designer Carolina Herrera with the Toda Una Vida Award; and businessman and community activist Marcos Torres with the Civic Inspiration Award; at its annual CARNAVAL Gala on Monday, May 7, 2018 at The Plaza Hotel's Grand Ballroom, 768 Fifth Avenue, NYC. Proceeds, which totaled over $1.1 million last year, benefit the creation of new choreographic works, much needed scholarships for young people, and immersive dance programs for communities around the world.

(12/5/2017) - China Arts and Entertainment Group (CAEG) presents the New York premiere of the Shanghai Dance Theatre (SDT) and their production of Soaring Wings, a new dance drama about 'the bird of good fortune,' the crested ibis, and the interdependence between human beings and nature. The production will play the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center for three performances only: January 5 and 6 at 8PM, and January 7 at 1PM. (11/17/2017) - Smuin makes the holidays sizzle with its annual yuletide celebration of dance, The Christmas Ballet. With a stunning and original array of ballet, tap, and jazz, this joyous showcase of styles offers both sugar and spice, with the surprise unwrapping of new treats every year. The 2017 edition of The Christmas Ballet features three saucy world premieres one by acclaimed Choreographer-in-Residence Amy Seiwert, another created by Smuin dancer Rex Wheeler, and a debut number choreographed by dancer Erica Felsch. (11/17/2017) - The 2017 Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes celebrated the beginning of the holiday season last night, November 16. Opening night honored the Garden of Dreams Foundation, a non-profit organization that works with The Madison Square Garden Company and MSG Networks Inc. to make dreams come true for children facing obstacles. The festivities kicked off onstage with a special performance by one of the 2017 Garden of Dreams Talent Show performers before the official opening night performance of the 2017 Christmas Spectacular season.
