(5/7/2012) - Ovation, The Actors Fund, Dizzy Feet Foundation, Nigel and Simon Lythgoe hosted a special event to benefit The Dancers' Resource, an organization founded by Bebe Neubirth to provide a wide range of support to injured dancers. Among the many who contributed their talents to the evening's event, The Mark Stuart Dance Theatre and Executive Director Mark Stuart. (5/3/2012) - This morning, May 3, hundreds of aspiring dancers lined up outside Radio City Music Hall awaiting their chance to fulfill their dreams and audition for a spot with The Rockettes in the upcoming 2012 production of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, celebrating 85 years of The Rockettes. (12/13/2010) - Neo-Baroque dance-theatre group Company XIV proudly presents the World Premiere of Nutcracker Rouge, a Baroque - Burlesque confection of dance, theatre and sumptuous design. The show is directed, choreographed and conceived by Austin McCormick, with a script adapted and written by Jeff Takacs. Nutcracker Rouge runs from December 10, 2010 to January 9, 2011 in a limited engagement at Company XIV's theatre space, located at 303 Bond Street, between Union & Sackett in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn. Company XIV is donating 50% of the show's proceeds to the Ali Forney Center in New York City.
