Winifred Haun & Dancers will re-stage their highly acclaimed full length ballet, "Promise," on October 17 & 18 at Historic Pleasant Home in Oak Park, IL. Pleasant Home is a Prairie Style house museum located in the heart of Oak Park.
Promise focuses on the women, images and psychological themes found in
John Steinbeck's 1952 novel, "East of Eden." The Company was invited to present Promise at Pleasant Home after their highly successful and sold-out production at the
Ruth Page Center in March 2015. Details about casting,
live music accompaniment and other events related to this production of "Promise" will be released in early September.
Promise at Pleasant Home can be seen on Saturday, October 17 at 7:00pm and Sunday, October 18 at 4:30pm at Historic Pleasant Home, 217 S. Home in Oak Park, IL, a suburb just west of Chicago. Tickets are $29, general admission. Tickets can be purchased on line at BrownPaperTickets.com ( ticket link:
