Like never before, the world-renowned 16th Annual Vancouver International Tap Festival is showcasing the fullness of a living, exciting, vital art taking place this weekend, Aug. 27 - 30, 2015. Tap dancing - from its deep musical roots and brilliant contemporary blossoming - explored and experienced from new perspectives and levels of excellence, includes two Canadian premieres of globally recognized and celebrated artists.

The entire festival is studded with tap stars from the US and Canada - Dianne Walker, Derick Grant, Terry Brock, Tre Dumas, Sarah Reich, Melinda Sullivan, and Danny Nielsen are just some of the world-class dancers who will throw huge doses of tap-charged entertainment and jaw-dropping expertise into a highly creative program mix.

Included in the three-day showcase are two electrifying and acclaimed productions that are the talk of tap: Sarah Reich's Tap Music Project, and Derick Grant's, 151 RED, Swingin' Time; both at 8pm at the Norman Rothstein Theatre, 950 W. 41st Ave. Vancouver.
