Utah Cultural Celebration Center Presents International Folk Music & Dance Fest., 8/9

In conjunction with the Bountiful/Davis Art Center's 22nd Annual Summerfest International (August 2 - 7 at Bountiful City Park - 400 N. 200 W.), the Utah Cultural Celebration Center presents International folk musicians and dancers from four different countries. The musical and dance groups featured are from Nepal, Paraguay, Czech Republic, and China. This event will take place on Monday, August 9th and tickets are free.

At the first stop on this cultural world tour, audience members will experience the traditional dances and music from the Himalayan culture of Nepal, with the Everest Nepal Cultural Group of Kathmandu. Next viewers will visit Paraguay, South America. International Organization of Folk Art members Remembranzas will dance with lively steps and costuming. The third stop is the Czech Republic with Slovak folk artsts, Janosicek, who will sing and dance their way into audiences' hearts. Finally, viewers will be swept to Inner Mongolia, China, to witness the vibrancy and color of the Wulan Muqui cultural experience.
