The Washington School of Ballet (TWSB) once again earned the title of 'Outstanding School' at the Pittsburg regional of Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP). YAGP is the world's largest international student dance competition. This year, students again earned '1st Place Ensemble' and top individual placements in several competition categories. The Washington School of Ballet's resident choreographer Mimmo Miccolis was again named 'Outstanding Choreographer' after earning the title last year at the NYC Finals.
"Our students compete against many of the best dancers in the world, and it's their dedication, discipline and training that have made us an outstanding school year after year," said Kee Juan Han, Director of The Washington School of Ballet. "We're honored to have received the top award for schools and so proud of our individual winners."
