UMS Night School: Curious About Dance

How do you experience dance? On the heels of last season's popular Bodies in Motion series, this winter's edition of Night School continues to explore dance. We invite both newcomers and aficionados alike to increase your knowledge about dance and meet others who share an interest in the art form.
- 90-minute classes combine conversation, interactive exercises, and lecture
- Hosted by Clare Croft, assistant professor of dance at the University of Michigan
- Drop in to just one session, or attend them all
- Events are free, and no pre-registration is required
- Special ticket discount to UMS Dance performances for attendees
You Can Dance Workshops

This winter, join dancers from our visiting companies for an exploration of the company's movement style:

Lyon Opera Ballet (April 25)
- No dance training or experience necessary
- All levels, ages 13 and up, are welcome
- Free, but first come, first served until studio reaches capacity
- Sign-up begins at the Y front desk 45 minutes before the class starts
