ME Dance Inc., the newest professional dance organization in the heart of Central Florida, pays tribute to the heroes in our lives with the premiere production of "Heroes - Who Are Your Heroes" taking center stage Friday, May 3, 2013 through Sunday, May 5, 2013 at The John and Rita Loundes Shakespeare Theatre in Orlando. Through the art of dance in various styles, ME Dance "Heroes" will applaud our heroes and recognize the ordinary people who take a stand for what is right.

The 80-minute program features world-premiere dance routines in ballet, pointe, contemporary, modern and jazz by famed choreographers, including ME Dance Founder Marshall Ellis, Cirque du Soleil - La Nouba Ana Cuellar, Michael Tindal and ME Dance Company performers Laura Karklina and Stephanie McMahon. Guest artist Romero Patterson will dance an original work choreographed by himself, plus "Heroes" will showcase three amazing live vocalists performing along with the dancers. The night is comprised of individual ideas of heroes as interpreted by each choreographer - an idea, person or thing - with creativity illustrated at the highest degree.

"Heroes" is produced by ME Dance, Inc., a not-for-profit arts organization founded in Orlando in 2012. The mission of ME Dance is to introduce innovative ideas through dance to create growth in the arts community and to enrich the arts community by providing an outlet to feature talent in art through entertainment. Founder Marshall Ellis brings over 24 years of dance and choreography experience to the table with the formation of ME Dance with credits including Orlando Ballet, Cirque du Soleil - La Nouba, Walk Disney World, London Studio Centre and Ballet Austin.

"I believe dance as a form of entertainment should be more accessible to a larger audience," says Ellis. "I aim to collaborate with other talents in the entertainment industry to promote excitement and drive arts in the community. Through collaboration, ME Dance, Inc. will be able to bring amazing performances to the stage. With passion and love for entertainment, I hope to encourage the growth of art in our communities."
